A Typical Class Day

After a month of reading and self-study at your own pace, you’ll join us for your in-person class session—held one Saturday each month, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:00 a.m., giving you plenty of time to sign in, turn in any paper homework that’s required, grab a cup of coffee, and get settled before we begin.

We’ll start the day together at 8:30 a.m. with worship, a few announcements, and the celebration of completion certificates from your previous class—followed by a time of devotions. It’s a wonderful way to focus our hearts and minds on what the Holy Spirit wants to do through our time together.

Students will then divide into their individual classes for each level. Class usually begins with introductions so you can get to know your instructor and fellow students. Then you’ll review the homework together before taking the final exam for that course.

After a lunch break where you can get to know your fellow students better, the remainder of the day is dedicated to bringing the material to life! Expect engaging discussions, practical insights, and real-world ministry applications designed to equip you with tools you can use right away. Our teaching team brings years of ministerial experience, and you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, share your thoughts, and learn from one another.

Once your coursework and final exam are submitted by your instructor to the MNSOM office, we’ll email your final course grade. In that email you will also be given a link to fill out a brief, confidential feedback form so you can share with us about your experience.

At MNSOM, our heart is to help you grow and prepare for the unique call of God on your life. Our dedicated staff is here to walk alongside you every step of the way—answering your questions, cheering you on, and supporting you as you develop your ministry.
