MNSOM has two formats of Text Overview homework assignments. The Moodle class page will direct you on how you will complete the homework for your class.

Traditional Paper Format- typing homework out in Word and printing a hard copy for class.

Online Format on Moodle – Faith & Action textbooks where homework is entered online on Moodle by NOON Friday, the day before the in-person class
HOMEWORK DETAILS
- Time Commitment: Typically, 15-20 hours per month, varying by study habits.
- Importance: Homework must be completed before class, accounting for 40% of the grade. Exams are based on homework. You may not attend class if your homework is incomplete.
Traditional Paper Format
- Assignments: Copy text information word for word from the textbook into your Microsoft Word copy of the Text Overview. MUST BE TYPED
- Grading: In-class by exchanging papers. Bring a printed copy for correction and submission.
- Zoom Classes: Happen when in person is cancelled due to bad weather. You need to complete typed homework, correct in class, and email a copy to mnsom@mnaog.org.
- Final Exams: 40-50 questions in multiple-choice, true/false, or matching formats.
Online Format on Moodle
- Submission: Answers must be entered on Moodle by noon the day before class.
- Format: Ten multiple-choice questions per chapter. Optional charts/questions.
- Feedback: Immediate feedback on Moodle with textbook page references.
- Final Exams: 50 multiple-choice questions from the Text Overview.

- Login: Username is your email (lowercase). Default password will be emailed in your MNSOM acceptance email.
ADDITIONAL TIPS
